Whispering Woods Golf Club – Course Etiquette and Rules
USGA Rules Govern Play
All players are expected to adhere strictly to the current USGA Rules of Golf to ensure fair and consistent play for everyone on the course.Appropriate Golf Attire Required
Proper golf attire is mandatory. Collared shirts, tailored shorts or pants, and golf shoes are recommended. Please avoid denim, gym wear, or other non-golf-specific clothing.Footwear Policy
Only soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes are permitted to protect the course turf and maintain playing conditions.Golf Cart Usage
Carts must remain on the designated cart paths near tee boxes, greens, and on all par 3 holes.
On other fairways, please follow the 90-degree rule by driving the cart directly across the rough to the ball at a right angle from the path, then back to the path after play.
Course Maintenance
Repair all ball marks on greens promptly to preserve smooth putting surfaces.
Replace all divots in fairways and tee boxes to help maintain healthy turf and ensure good playing conditions for all players.
Rake all bunkers carefully after use to leave them in pristine condition for others.
Play Ready Golf
Players are encouraged to play at a reasonable pace and be ready to hit when it is their turn. Maintain a pace that allows for the completion of an 18-hole round within four hours whenever possible.
